The method of achieving the object of The Boys’ Brigade is by providing a fun, meaningful and challenging programme of Spiritual, Physical, Enrichment, and Social interests which in turn based on the “Twin Pillars” of Christian Education and Discipline, guided by Christian volunteer adult leaders as Officers.

1. Spiritual. To build the character of Boys through teachings of
Christian values and develop them into responsible people
of the community.

2. Physical. Team games and individual games and activities
respectively, to encourage a spirit of comradeship and allow
individual Boys to develop their own physique. As they
grow older, more adventurous activities are also introduced.

3. Enrichment. To teach something useful or artistic as an
introduction to leisure time activities (e.g. craft work of all
kinds, music, drama, photography).

4. Social. To encourage the Boys in progressive ways to gain
appropriate knowledge and then apply this in practical service
to other people.
